Meet Our Audiologists & Staff
Our team of audiologists brings years of experience and expertise to Northside Hearing Care:Dr. Lauren Hendrickson
Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Lauren Hendrickson graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences in 2003 and completed her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2007, both from Purdue University. By graduation, she had accumulated over 2000 hours of experience working with children and adults in various settings, including private practices, hospitals, and nursing homes. Dr. Hendrickson worked for a large private practice and with an ENT physician before opening Northside Hearing Care in 2011.
Dr. Hendrickson specializes in diagnostic testing for hearing loss as well as providing personalized hearing aid recommendations and hearing aid maintenance. In her free time, Dr. Hendrickson enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephen, and her three daughters.
Dr. Heather Mickey
Au.D.
Dr. Heather Mickey has been a licensed audiologist in the Indianapolis area for more than two decades. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Purdue University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Mickey has worked with patients of all ages to achieve optimal hearing health and values the opportunity to help people live happier lives through improved communication. In her free time, Dr. Mickey enjoys cooking, music, decorating, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Dr. Mallory Lowrance
Au.D.
Dr. Mallory Lowrance graduated with her doctorate in audiology from Ball State University in 2016. She completed her fourth-year externship at the Dayton VA Hospital and then went on to practice at an ENT clinic for several years. Dr. Lowrance is passionate about helping veterans manage hearing loss. She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and two dogs. She is also an avid sports fan and is the sole Hoosier in the office!
Our Support Staff
Lisa Cheney
Lisa graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Audiology & Speech Sciences in 1999. After graduation, she put her audiology career on hold to support her family’s retail swimwear store. Now Lisa is starting a new chapter as an Audiology Assistant to Dr. Hendrickson.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, their two teenage daughters, and their rescue dog, AJ. Lisa also volunteers at the Hamilton County Humane Society.
Judy McLinn
Judy is the friendly voice you will hear on the phone and the smiling face that will welcome you to the office! She has been with Northside Hearing Care for six years. Along with answering the phones, Judy also schedules appointments, greets patients, and bakes cookies every morning along with other office duties. Judy is married and has two adult daughters. In her spare time, Judy and her husband are involved in their church music program. They also enjoy traveling and biking rail-to-trail paths with their friends.
